GT Offroad  is the synonym of professionality.

Born in 1989 from such high determination and passion, those have brought its owner Guido Toni (GT) to get simply 18 years of experience among engines , suspension settings and racing components of all the cars followed trough many race fields, from racetrack to rallies, strictly cooperating with the most important teams , they have moulded and motivated drivers and co-drivers, and today he is the skilled technical manager who proudly manage

ISUZU TEAM EUROPE by GT Offroad, the RACING TEAM  into the ALL-TERRAIN World Championship.

The ISUZU-D Max project committed to GT Offroad, was born as a challenge for MIDI Europe, ISUZU importer for Italy, France and Swiss, to meet face to face with the DAKAR in 2005 racing with the very sturdy ISUZU D Max  pick-up prepared T1 class.
It had been driven by the 4 times Dakar champion EDI ORIOLI  Co-driven by PASCAL ROSOLEN, with a very respectable 40^th overall place on final classification.

The same edition if this hard race witnessed GUIDO TONI participating as co-driver on an IVECO truck, beside an icon driver, the world rally champion MARKKU ALEN, winning the 7^th place on final truck classification, a very hard race where getting the final flag is the a good result and a target.

Within the same Year in the later 2005 the same pick-up D Max had been racing at the Pharahons Rally winning the podium, classified 1^st in the diesel class and got at the same time the 5^th place in the overall final classification.
The GT Offroad  professional added value and the reliability of the ISUZU D MAX, had in that way signed a union, that have forwarded a bigger and harder project, the building up of two tubular chassis prototypes, definitely new for what concerns geometries, engines and high quality standards for all components , so to get more performing and reliable cars for the 2006 DAKAR race, where then the already tested couple EDI ORIOLI / PASCAL ROSOLEN had been seen for the Italian crowd, while HUBERT AURIOL had been co-driven by JEAN PAUL FORTHOMME for the French crowd.

However THE 2006 edition had not been as luckier as the 2005 race, being the team suffered the first and the second withdrawals due to accidents at the IV and V legs respectively.
The same car prototype led always by EDI ORIOLI and PASCAL ROSOLEN, has been running then the ITALIAN BAJA 2006 at Pordenone, race available for the FIA International Cup for Cross Country Bajas , proving ,with a 1^st place in diesel cathegory and a 2^nd place in the final overall classification, to be anyway a competitive an reliable vehicle.

From that, the choice of MIDI Europe, ISUZU importer, to race again with the two prototypes D MAX managed and improved always by GTOffroad now in the guise of ISUZU Europe official team at the future competitions as BAJA ESPANA, Pharaons Rally and LISBONA-DAKAR 2007, against big official competitors.

Driver: Edi Orioli e Pascal Rosolen, Markku Alen e Rafa Tornabell, Albert Llovera e Umberto Fiori.

Classment: Edi Orioli takes 17° in general classment, 8° classment diesel 4x4 and 1° pick-up at the end of Dakar.

We put at ISUZU customers’ attention that, GT Offroad is a workshop authorized to follow maintenance of the full production line up to 3,5 tons.

Moreover thanks to its qualified experience in the offroad area, from this year GT Offroad is the official dealer for Italy of the PIRELLI TRUCK COMPETITION product.
